Black Country Communion: Live Over Europe version on 2CD in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Mascot Records (2) on 23. February 2012.
Black Country Communion consists of Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Trapeze, Black Sabbath), Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Foreigner) and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Alice Cooper). The album "Live Over Europe" was recorded in Hamburg, Munich and Berlin in the summer of 2011. The set, consisting of 16 BCC tracks from two renowned studio albums, was enhanced by great versions of Bonamassa's classic "The Ballad Of John Henry" and Purple's unforgettable classic "Burn", which closed each concert.
Producer Kevin Shirley: "We all felt that Black Country Communion would be incredible as a live band. That they would put on legendary shows like our legendary shows like our legendary classic rock heroes. The plan was for the whole world to hear them. Of course, studio albums have a certain sophistication, but there's so much more that can happen on stage. Songs change, musical boundaries are crossed and sometimes, on rare occasions, the band literally explodes on stage. Two studio albums have provided enough material for a full concert and allowed us to unleash a monster for the rest of the world to see and feel what Black Country Communion represent."
Album spans genres Rock, Blues, Blues Rock and Classic Rock.
