Transatlantic Rock Supergroup

Black Country Communion is a rock supergroup that was formed in 2009. The band consists of vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (formerly of Deep Purple and Trapeze), drummer Jason Bonham (son of the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham), blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (formerly of Dream Theater). The group's name was inspired by the industrial area in the British Midlands where both Hughes and Bonham were born and raised. Black Country Communion's sound is characterized by a blend of hard rock, blues-rock, and heavy metal, drawing upon the members' substantial rock heritage.
