One of the most famous German rock bands, Bonfire was formed in 1986 as a successor to Cacumen. In the same year, their debut album "Don't Touch The Light" was released, garnering overwhelming attention on the hard rock scene and receiving favorable press coverage worldwide. In addition to the iconic anthem "Hot To Rock" and the mega ballad "You Make Me Feel", the five-piece presented two major hits on their first album. After several line-up changes, the band went into the studio with top producer Michael Wagener to record "Fireworks", a hard rock milestone par excellence that remains valid to this day. This album, released in 1987, marked an international breakthrough for Bonfire, selling more than 100,000 copies in Germany alone and staying in the charts for more than 30 weeks. On an extremely successful tour with Judas Priest, the band impressively proved that songs like "Ready 4 Reaction", "Champion", "Sweet Obsession", "American Nights" and "Give It A Try" would stand the test of time.
