Morcheeba is a British band that was formed in the mid-1990s, known for their downtempo music which incorporates elements of trip-hop, rock, folk-rock, and R&B. The group was originally composed of vocalist Skye Edwards and the brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey. They first gained recognition with their 1996 debut album "Who Can You Trust?" which laid the groundwork for their signature sound. Morcheeba achieved commercial success with their second album "Big Calm" in 1998, which featured the hit single "The Sea." This album solidified their position in the trip-hop genre and expanded their international fan base.
