Blind Faith

Blind Faith

British Supergroup of the Late 1960s

Blind Faith was an English supergroup that consisted of Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech. The band, which was one of the first supergroups, formed in 1969 following the breakups of Cream and Traffic. Despite their short-lived career, Blind Faith quickly became one of the most prominent acts of their time due to the members' previous successes in their respective bands. They released only one self-titled album, "Blind Faith," in August 1969, which topped the charts in both the UK and the US. The album included classics such as "Can't Find My Way Home" and "Presence of the Lord." Their music was a fusion of rock, blues, and folk music. The band was also known for their live performances, which showcased their exceptional musicianship. However, due to internal tensions and pressure from high expectations, Blind Faith disbanded after less than a year together, making them a legendary yet ephemeral fixture in rock history.
