Pre Box S2 Digital - a revolution in performance in a unique component

The ultimate versatile, high-end preamplifier, DAC and headphone amplifier in one compact all-metal chassis. The Pre Box S2 Digital is simply a very flexible device.

A Pro-ject device in this size, for the first time, uses a dual mono configuration with top-of-the-line ESS Sabre DACs!This DAC is capable of high resolution audio up to 32bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512. The Pre Bpx S2 Digital is also the first device to support MQA hardware decoding.

MQA encoding can be applied to any uncompressed or lossless compressed format, such as the widely used FLAC, WAV or ALAC formats. However, the resulting files remain backwards compatible with current players. MQA is not just about encoding, it is about the whole process and signal processing from recording in the studio, to listening to the recording.

The development team was able to compress the jitter rate below 100 femtoseconds (^10-15) for the Pro Box S2 Digital preamplifier. There are also 7 digital filters to choose from. for user adjustments.

Despite its compact size, the device has a clear colour display and can be easily operated with the remote control.
