19th-Century German Romantic Composer and Pianist

Salomon Jadassohn (1831–1902) was a German composer, pianist, and teacher who made significant contributions to the Romantic era of classical music. Born in Breslau, which was then part of Prussia and is now Wrocław, Poland, Jadassohn was a prolific composer with a wide-ranging output that included symphonies, concertos, chamber music, piano works, and choral pieces. He studied under some of the most prominent musicians of his time, including Franz Liszt and Moritz Hauptmann.
