Martin Turnovský

Czech Conductor and Classical Music Maestro

Martin Turnovský is a distinguished Czech conductor known for his work with various orchestras around the world. Born on September 29, 1928, in Prague, he began his musical career after studying conducting at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. His talent soon led him to become the assistant conductor at the Prague National Theatre. Turnovský's career further blossomed as he took on roles with numerous orchestras across Europe, including serving as the chief conductor of the Brno State Philharmonic Orchestra and later working with the Prague Symphony Orchestra.
