Wolfgang Van Halens Rock Solo Project

Mammoth WVH is the solo project of Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen. The project's name is a nod to "Mammoth," an early name for his father's band that would eventually become Van Halen. Wolfgang played every instrument and sang all the vocals on the debut album, which showcases his musical versatility and talent. Before launching Mammoth WVH, Wolfgang was a member of Van Halen, playing bass for the band from 2006 until their disbandment following his father's death in 2020. He has also been involved with the heavy metal band Tremonti as a bassist. The self-titled debut album "Mammoth WVH" was released in June 2021 to positive reviews, with critics praising Wolfgang's songwriting and musicianship. The lead single "Distance," a tribute to his late father, garnered significant attention and charted on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
