The impressive, virtuosic "Ordinary Madness" is the title of blues-rock icon Walter Trout's new album, due out in 2020 on the Mascot Label Group. He recorded eleven songs for it with producer Eric Corn at former The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger's studio in Los Angeles. He was backed by his band consisting of Johnny Griparic on bass, Teddy Andreadis on keyboards and Michael Leasure on drums. Other guests on "Ordinary Madness" include Trout's son Jon, singer Teeny Tucker, Anthony Grisham (guitar), Skip Edwards (steel guitar) and Drake Shining (keyboards). They've already had their first taste of the new album with the song "Wanna Dance". And it shows: the songwriting talent of Walter Trout is as impressive as ever, his guitar playing as virtuosic.
