Rival Sons released their third album Great Western Valkyrie in 2014. The album was recorded at the historic Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, California. The album was produced by Dave Cobb, who has also produced albums for artists such as Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell. Great Western Valkyrie was well received by critics and the band toured extensively in support of the album.
