Various: Ska... Ska... Skandal No. 6 NUM version on vinyl LP in individually numbered edition. This particular edition was published in Germany in publishing company Pork Pie on 20. August 2015.
Since 1989, under the slogan "Ska, Ska, Scandal" and combined with the iconic comic book motifs on the packaging of the corporate identity, ska "made in Germany" has been promoted worldwide - and has served as the initial spark of ska enthusiasm among generations of fans and musicians of the scene. Almost ten years after the last successful volume, the label now presents a brand new edition that has successfully made its way through the German scene. With one exception, only the top tracks created specifically for this sampler have been selected. El Bosso & Die Ping Pongs release their über-hit "Immer Nur Ska" in a brand new version and scene veteran Dr. Ring Ding presents a fresh update of his legendary track "Dandimite Ska" - as a bonus track. Of course, he's worthy of representation with his Ska Vaganza and a seductive version of "I'm In The Mood For Ska" (Lord Tanamo). Other legends and veterans of the scene like The Frits ("Still Alive"), The Busters, Bluekilla, The Butlers or Blechreiz (for the first time with a new singer) are of course represented as well as surprisingly charming songs by slightly younger bands of the scene like Die Tornados, Masons Arms, Wonderska, potential crown princes Busters Yellow Cap or Dr. Deadlock & Congaline. It goes without saying that not only the selection but also the order of the songs creates an absolutely perfect, more than fifty-minute offbeat party atmosphere. And the iconic cover, this time masterfully and beautifully crafted by Markus Magenbitter, puts the crown on it all. CD in digipack with 16-page 4c booklet, LP with folded 4c-A3 insert and download code (first 300 copies as 180 gram vinyl and hand-numbered!). No ska fan will want to miss this sampler - an absolute genre highlight!
