For me, as the producer of this project, it was a balm to the soul to see and hear these iconic musicians sitting in their old Cajun living rooms, playing their instruments unaccompanied and making the music that they and I grew up on and have loved since childhood. Each of the musicians played one of their favorite Cajun songs masterfully, effortlessly and soulfully on the instrument they love the most. This recording was expertly recorded by Joel Savoy and transports the listener to another world and simpler times. Bon voyage!" - Steve Riley
