In general, you have to be careful with terms like all-star band or supergroup, because a lot of people use these superlatives too lightly. In the case of the new Unisonic formation, however, the enthusiastic choice of words is definitely appropriate, because with Michael Kiske (vocals), Kai Hansen (guitar), Mandy Meyer (guitar), Dennis Ward (bass) and Kosta Zafiriou (drums), this exciting new band is made up of not only top-notch experts in their field, but also some of the most respected musicians in the European rock and metal scene. Already on 27 January 2012, all fans were treated to the perfect prelude: a mini-album with four exclusive songs sold out in a short time and was met with enthusiastic reactions. And the band delivers on its promises. The new songs are sometimes fast, sometimes wild, sometimes loud, but always melodic. In other words, exactly how you would imagine Helloween's legendary heads Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen on stage. The title track "Unisonic" shows where the hammer hangs.
