Unisonic consists of Michael Kiske (ex Helloween), Kai Hansen (GammaRay, ex Helloween), Mandy Meyer (ex Asia), Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69) and Kosta Zafiriou (ex PC 69). Opener "Your Time Has Come" sounds like it was freshly recorded at the Keeper Sessions, with double bass drums and fast guitar licks. The familiar "For The Kingdom" has a similar feel, while the first single "Exceptional" has an incredible groove and killer chorus. "Not Gonna Take Anymore" is a Judas Priest-esque anthem, while "Blood" and "You And I" are the kind of ballads that make other bands wish they'd written such hits. The band is at the top of their game, firing on all cylinders, and yet again it's Michael Kiske's vocal performance that makes the difference - his voice is so unique and special that it makes him one of the best metal singers of all time. It puts him on par with greats like Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford and Geoff Tate.
