One of the most legendary bands in rock history, the Rolling Stones, release another work from their From The Vault collection. This time it is No Security - San Jose 1999, which will be released on July 13th. No Security captures the concert that closed their US tour in San Jose. "The 'Stones' played to 33,000 people over two nights, opening the show with Jumpin' Jack Flash, there was no security, no inflatable objects, no bells or whistles - just the band, the stage and the fans.The set list consisted of hits from the mid-sixties to tracks from Bridges to Babylon. The icing on the cake is a bluesy dramatic version of Midnight Rambler, a dark arrangement of Out of Control and last but not least Some Girls and Saint of Me, songs the band rarely plays in concert. The show was electric, packed with anthems and wrote one of the many chapters in the book called Rock'n'Roll. The No Security tour was different for the Rolling Stones in that it focused on smaller concerts, using few effects and all about the music itself.No Security will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, 2CD, 3LP and digital.The Rolling Stones are a band that has been a mainstay of rock music since their beginnings in 1962, when they were the counterpart to the sanctimonious Beatles. This is evidenced by their inclusion in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 50 Immortal Rock 'n' Roll Artists, where they were ranked #4, winning the Grammy twice for lifetime achievement, and their induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. The hard core of the band consists of knighted singer Mick Jagger and guitar wizard with a life story of a rebel, Keith Richards.
