The Rolling Stones live for the first time in Tokyo, Japan "From The Vault - Live At The Tokyo Dome 1990" is the next installment of the Rolling Stones' 2015 concert series of the same name. It was preceded in 2014 by the official release of "From the Vault - Hampton Coliseum (Live in 1981)", "From the Vault - L.A. "Live At The Tokyo Dome 1990" is dedicated to one of the ten concerts the band played at the Tokyo Dome as part of their "Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour" world tour in February 1990. These shows were actually the first ever performances the Rolling Stones played in the "Land of the Rising Sun", and the last performances of bassist Bill Wyman, who left the band in 1993. The band played a total of 23 classic Stones songs and one intro that night - a cross-section of their entire discography. Jagger and co. were supported by musicians Lisa Fischer (backing vocals), Bernard Fowler (backing vocals and drums), Chuck Leavell (backing vocals and keyboards), Matt Clifford (backing vocals, keyboards, drums and horn) and Bobby Keys (saxophone). "Live At The Tokyo Dome 1990" was originally released back in 2012, but only as an exclusive digital download via Google Music and then on the Stones Archive Store. Now this live album is being released officially for the first time, on DVD, Blu-ray, as a double CD and DVD set and as a 4 LP and DVD version. The recordings were first meticulously remastered and mixed by "elite" sound engineer Bob Clearmountain, who has previously worked for Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi, David Bowie, The Who and several times for the Stones. Fans of the Rolling Stones take note: With the release of "Live At The Tokyo Dome 1990", the official recording of one of their legendary first concerts in Japan has finally arrived - comprehensively restored and therefore in unprecedented sound quality.
