The Stones make music history again On 25 March 2016, the time has finally come: the Rolling Stones performed for the first time in the Cuban capital Havana. Their fans had to wait decades for this moment, as rock musicians have long been banned in Cuba. "Havana Moon" is the title of a new concert film and live album that impressively documents the historic performance in several special formats. Admission was free that night because almost no one could afford a ticket otherwise due to low wages. Fans gratefully accepted. The show, attended by approximately 450,000 people, was the largest rock concert in the history of the Caribbean island nation to date. So there was no doubt that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts were in top form, presenting the audience with a special selection of their complete work under the glowing moon of Havana. The evening's playlist included classics such as "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Honky Tonk Women", "Sympathy For The Devil" and "Brown Sugar". The Stones played a total of 22 songs. To share this unforgettable performance with their fans around the world, the movie "Havana Moon" was already screened in many theaters around the world on September 23, 2016. Now the concert film and live album are finally available for home viewing on DVD, Blu-ray and various limited editions with additional CDs and LPs. With their concert in the Cuban capital in 2016, the Rolling Stones once again made music history. "Havana Moon" is an impressive recording of that performance.
