On July 9, 1995, the Grateful Dead performed at Chicago's historic Soldier Field for the last time before frontman Jerry Garcia died of a heart attack a month later. Before the end of December that year, the band announced their breakup. On July 3, 4 and 5, 2015, the Grateful Dead reunited at the same venue where they played their last concert in 1995. They were backed by Trey Anastasio on guitar, Jeff Chimenti on keyboards and Bruce Hornsby on piano.
