In 1967, four young musicians from Nottinghamshire, England, formed Ten Years After. Alvin Lee, Chick Churchill, Ric Lee and Leo Lyon became one of the most explosive quartets on the world stage and established themselves as one of the best bands in the history of rock 'n' roll. The band boasts eight Top 40 placements in the UK album charts. Twelve of their albums from 1967-1974 sold millions of copies in the US and made the Billboard 200. In 2014, founding members Ric Lee and Chick Churchill relaunched Ten Years After with a new line-up. The band's new lineup included British bass icon Colin Hodgkinson (Backdoor, Peter Green, Alexis Corner, Spencer Davis, Chris Rea, John Lord) and multiple British Blues Award-winning guitarist and vocalist Marcus Bonfanti (Van Morrison, Ginger Baker, Ronnie Wood). This new line-up has been touring since 2013, has played over 150 shows since then and has managed to thrill fans and critics around the world, as it still carries the energy of that era 50 years after its inception. To celebrate their 50th anniversary, the band has recorded a new studio album "A Sting In The Tale" with their fans, which they will present as part of an extensive anniversary tour.
