Slowdive: The Shining Breeze: The Slowdive Anthology version on 2CD in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe and UK in publishing company Cherry Red on 4. May 2010.

British band Slowdive was formed in 1989 in Reading. After signing to Creation Records, Slowdive released their debut eponymous EP. Their music was influenced by the likes of The Byrds and My Bloody Valentine, and Rachel Goswell's angelic vocals and Neil Halstead and Christian Saville's psychedelically screaming guitar walls thrilled the English music press and fans of the shoegazer sound. In the following years Slowdive released several albums and EPs. The second album "Souvlaki" was released in 1993 and critics consider it their best album. Some album titles such as "Sing" or "Here She Comes" were created with the help of Brian Eno. This reissue includes a second CD with rare B-sides and special versions. Booklet includes sleeve notes by Kieron Tyler (MOJO Magazine). Remastered.
