The progressive metal band Queensrÿche broke into the mainstream with the famous 1988 album Operation: Mindcrime. The album contained the band's first hits, "Eyes of a Stranger" and "I Don't Believe in Love". Shortly after its release, "Operation: Mindcrime" was certified platinum by the RIAA. The album tells the story of Nikki, a drug addict who becomes disillusioned with the corrupt society of the time and reluctantly joins a revolutionary group to assassinate political leaders. The sequel "Operation: Mindcrime II" was released in 2006 and included the singles "I'm American" and "The Hands". The story picks up where the original film left off, Nikki is released from prison and seeks revenge for the murder of her beloved former prostitute turned nun, Sister Mary. In support of this album, the band went on tour and played three consecutive nights at the Moore Theatre in Seattle in October 2006. For the first time ever, the live album "Mindcrime At The Moore" is now available on vinyl. The 4LP set is available in a limited edition of 3500 individually numbered copies on translucent red, solid white and black marbled vinyl and includes an insert.
