Queen : The Game is an album released in 1980 by the British rock band Queen.It was their eleventh studio album and the first to feature keyboardist John Deacon. The album reached number two in the United Kingdom and number six in the United States. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded it a platinum record for shipping one million copies. The album was recorded at Mountain Studios in Montreux, Switzerland and Sarm West Studios in London. The album was produced by Queen and Roy Thomas Baker. The album was mixed by Mike Stone. The album's lead single, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", became a number one hit in the United Kingdom and the United States. The second single, "Another One Bites the Dust", also became a number one hit in the United States. The third single, "Dragon Attack", reached number fourteen in the United Kingdom. The album was praised by music critics. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic called it "one of Queen's strongest albums ". The album was a commercial success. In the United States, the album was certified platinum by the RIAA for shipments.
