Queen : Made In Heaven is an album released by British rock band Queen in 1995, two years after the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury. The album was composed from Mercury's last recordings, which were completed by the remaining members of the band. The album was commercially successful and reached number one in several countries. The album opens with the song "It's a Beautiful Day", which Mercury recorded in 1991. The song is a celebration of life and is one of the more upbeat tracks on the album. The next song, "Made in Heaven", is a more somber ballad that Mercury wrote shortly before his death. The song is about Mercury's coming to terms with death and his hope to be reunited with his loved ones in heaven. The album contains several other ballads, including "Let Me Live" and "Mother Love". These songs are about Mercury's relationships with family and friends and his love of life. The album also contains several rock songs, such as "I Was Born to Love You" and "Heaven for Everyone".
