Reissue of Nick Cave's classic album on 180g vinyl. This vinyl reissue was overseen by Bad Seeds member Mick Harvey! In the song "The Boatman's Call", Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds capture the quiet tones. The album, which is largely composed on piano, works with minimalist arrangements and focuses on songwriting. This is why the work is considered by critics to be one of the band's best. With the songs "Green Eyes", "Black Hair" and "West Country Girl", Nick Cave musically approaches two of his idols - Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. Moreover, it's not hard to guess who Nick Cave is paying heartfelt tribute to here: PJ Harvey! Nick's vinyl editions were long out of print and traded as rarities. In October, the film "20,000 Days on Earth" was released, which is in a way (tongue in cheek) a documentary about the life and work of Nick Cave.
