Reissue of Nick Cave's classic album. This vinyl reissue was overseen by Bad Seeds member Mick Harvey! Nick Cave's ninth studio album (1996) became his most successful. Thanks to his duet with Kylie Minogue "Where The Wild Roses Grow", Nick Cave found himself at the top of the world charts. Other guests on the album include PJ Harvey and former Pogues singer Shane MacGowan. As the title of the album suggests, these are traditional stories in which the content of a murder committed out of passion plays a major role. Musically, they move between morbid country, clever alternative rock and playful cabaret jazz. Vinyl editions of Nick were long unavailable and traded as rarities. In October, the film "20,000 Days on Earth" was released, which is, in its own way (tongue in cheek), a documentary about the life and work of Nick Cave.
