Technique is the third studio album by English rock band New Order , released on 15 January 1989 by Factory Records. The album was produced by New Order and Stephen Hague and was their first album released after the departure of original bassist Peter Hook. It reached number two in the UK Albums Chart and featured four singles: "Fine Time", "Round & Round", "World in Motion" and "Regret".
