Motörhead's "On Parole" will be released in a completely remastered version on CD and double LP. Both editions will feature six bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased version of "Iron Horse / Born to Lose" and an unheard demo version of "Fools". Founding member Lucas Fox, drummer of the original lineup, also wrote new liner notes for the record, which include rarely seen photos and archival material. The release is accompanied by a rare version of the artwork, which was previously only available in Canada, and is the only Motörhead album to reunite all of the founding members (Lemmy as vocalist and bassist, Larry Wallis as guitarist and vocalist, and Lucas Fox on drums). On Parole" contains the first recordings Motörhead ever made. Although the album was completed in 1976 and its release was delayed by the label until 1979, it marks a beginning for one of the most important bands in rock history. Motörhead's uncompromising sound represented not only a paradigm shift, but also the fact that Lemmy finally appeared here as the band's frontman, becoming almost by accident one of rock's most legendary, influential and respected figures. "On Parole" was released in 1979 as the band's fourth album.
