Motörhead: 1916 LTD version on vinyl LP in limited Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Pure Pleasure Records in cooperation with Epic on 29. April 2022.

Lemmy Kilmister had been the driving force behind Motörhead for 16 years when "1916" was recorded in 1991. There have been many changes in the band over the years - in fact, Kilmister was the only member of the original line-up. However, the band's sound has barely changed and the years have done nothing to diminish the appeal of their steamroller. As sobering as the reflections on the horrors of World War I in the title song are, songs like "Going to Brazil," "Angel City" (an ode to the beautiful and wealthy partygoers of Los Angeles) and "Ramones" (a tribute to the New York punk band) are certainly entertaining. Whether it's pure fun or a more serious theme, "1916" is one of Motörhead's most inspiring records.
