Miles Davis: Dark Magus version on vinyl 2LP in Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Music On Vinyl in cooperation with Columbia on 13. May 2016.

The double album Dark Magus was recorded on March 30, 1974 at New York's Carnegie Hall. Miles Davis' band at the time consisted of bassist Michael Henderson, drummer Al Foster, percussionist James Mtume, saxophonist Dave Liebman and guitarists Pete Cosey and Reggie Lucas. Dark Magus was produced by Teo Macero and features four two-part recordings named after the Swahili words for the numbers one through four. Dark Magus was released after Davis' retirement in 1975. After the release of the live albums Agharta (1975) and Pangaea (1976), Dark Magus was released in Japan for the first time. The album inspired noise-rock bands of the late 1970s and experimental funk artists of the early 1980s. In retrospect, critics have praised the jazz-rock aesthetic and the band members' performances, even pointing to a partial anticipation of jungle music. In 2001, Q Magazine ranked Dark Magus among the 50 greatest albums of all time.
