Meat Loaf: Dead Ringer version on vinyl LP in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Epic in cooperation with Cleveland International Records, Sony Music and Legacy on 25. August 2017.

"Dead Ringer" by Meat Loaf is the second of three albums written entirely by Jim Steinman, the first of which was "Bat Out Of Hell". Once again, Jim Steinman wrote lush, operatic songs with exaggerated lyrics and a backing band that included E Street Band members Max Weinberg (drums) and Roy Bittan (keyboards), while Meat Loaf himself sang with a passion that sounded all the more seductive because it flirted with hyperbole. "Dead Ringer" spawned four singles: "Dead Ringer For Love", "I'm Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us", "Read 'Em And Weep" and "Peel Out". In the UK, the album reached number one in the charts. The title track, with the perfect choice of Cher as a duet partner, reached the top ten.
