Marillion: Live from Cadogan Hall LTD | CLR version on vinyl 4LP in limited colored edition. This particular edition was published in Germany in publishing company Ear Music on 9. October 2020.
Marillion have been one of the most innovative and musically diverse bands on the English music scene for over 25 years. The Brits have built a loyal fan base over the years, having released over 15 studio albums and more than 20 UK Top 40 hits. With a unique connection between artist and audience, each live performance by the band has always been an exceptional experience. The final night of the acoustic 'Less Is More' tour on 7 December 2009 in the extraordinary intimate setting of London's Cadogan Hall, bathed in red light, was once again an immersive musical experience. The first part of the evening saw Marillion present their latest studio album 'Less Is More' with highlights 'Interior Lulu', 'It's Not Your Fault' and 'If My Heart Were A Ball'. The second part of the evening featured 10 classic Marillion songs such as "80 Days," "Easter" and "You're Gone," which the audience enthusiastically celebrated. The concert is dedicated to the album "Less Is More", on which Marillion completely reinvented themselves and their songs, transforming them into alternative acoustic arrangements. Following this experimental approach, the band plays dulcimer, autoharp, celesta, chimes, xylophone and pipe organ, impressively demonstrating the musical flexibility of this exceptional band while giving more space to Steve Rothery's superb guitar playing and Hogarth's incredible voice.
