"The Weight Of Your Love" is the fourth studio album by British indie rock band Editors, released on 28 June 2013. The album marks a departure from the synth-heavy approach of their previous record, "In This Light and on This Evening," returning to a more guitar-oriented sound. It is their first album featuring new members Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams after the departure of lead guitarist Chris Urbanowicz in 2012. The album contains eleven tracks, including the lead single "A Ton Of Love," which showcases the band's return to a more anthemic rock style, as well as the introspective "What Is This Thing Called Love" and the driving force of "Formaldehyde." Other notable tracks include "Sugar," "Nothing," and "The Weight." The album's themes often revolve around love, guilt, and redemption, with a mix of energetic rockers and poignant ballads. "The Weight Of Your Love" was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville and produced by Jacquire King, known for his work with Kings of Leon and Tom Waits.
