Um wieder bei einem Label ihrer Wahl vertrieben zu werden, beteiligte die Band über 12.000 Fans an der Vorfinanzierung des Albums. Mit deren Unterstützung konnte Marillion wieder mit der EMI als Vertriebsfirma zusammenarbeiten und sich gleichzeitig die Rechte an der Produktion erhalten.
