Live documentary, song collection, time travel Milestone in a new guise: in 2018, Led Zeppelin reissue their legendary live recording "How The West Was Won", completely remastered and for the first time ever on vinyl. "How The West Was Won" collects footage of the band's June 25 and 27, 1972 concerts at the Los Angeles Forum and Long Beach Arena. For thirty years, these recordings were only available as bootlegs until they were officially released for the first time in 2003. Now, Jimmy Page has taken up the recording duties once again. The album features 18 tracks in total, including classic tracks like "Stairway To Heaven" and "What Is And What Should Never Be", a 25+ minute version of "Dazed And Confused", and a 23 minute medley of "Whole Lotta Love", "Boogie Chillun", "Let's Have a Party", "Hello Mary Lou" and "Going Down Slow". In addition, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham played songs on these two concerts that would not appear until nine months later on "Houses Of The Holy": "Over The Hills And Far Away", "Dancing Days" and "The Ocean". The remastered "How The West Was Won" is now available on Blu-ray, 3 CDs, 4 LPs and in a super deluxe box set. The latter includes the album on three CDs and four LPs, as well as a DVD of the album in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound and PCM stereo with an additional photo gallery. In addition, there is a download card for all the stereo sounds in 96 kHz/24-bit resolution, a book with rare and partly never-before-exhibited photographs, and a copy of the original sleeve, of which the first 30,000 copies are individually numbered. A special living document, a great collection of songs, a musical journey through time. Rock legends Led Zeppelin present "How The West Was Won" in a new sound.
