King Crimson 1969 - 1972 presents the band's first four albums and two additional LPs of rarities from the same period in a deluxe collector's box. The albums "In the Court Of The Crimson King", "In the Wake of Poseidon", "Lizard" and "Islands" feature new mixes created by Steven Wilson and Robert Fripp in 2009 and 2010 for the 40th Anniversary editions. These mixes are now available on vinyl for the first time. The two bonus LPs contain rarities, many of which were also mixed by Steven Wilson and, with the exception of the single "Catfood", are heard on vinyl for the first time. "The Alternative Guide To King Crimson" is housed in a sleeve with a cover originally designed for the 1975 compilation "The Young Person's Guide To King Crimson".
