With the album "Hopes And Fears", released in 2004, Keane managed to break through - a full nine years after its inception. The British rock band's album was even voted one of the most important British albums - along with albums by the likes of the Beatles, Radiohead and Oasis. "Hopes And Fears" earned them two BRIT Awards and a GRAMMY nomination. In Germany, the album sold gold and four singles reached the German singles chart. First and foremost, of course, the spectacular "Somewhere Only We Know", "Everybody's Changing", "Bedshaped" and "This Is The Last Time". Although the follow-up album "Under the Iron Sea" was similarly successful, "Hopes And Fears" remains by far the most successful album from the band, who have indulged in a creative hiatus since 2014.
