Birthday release of controversial album classic It's hard to believe that Judas Priest's legendary album "Turbo" was released more than 30 years ago. The album "Turbo 30" will be released in 2017 in a remastered reissue to celebrate this anniversary, on LP or 3CD with some interesting extras. The album "Turbo" was originally released on April 15, 1986. Many fans still consider it controversial today, because after two first-rate metal predecessors, the band now suddenly experimented with guitar synths, which audibly affected the sound. Nevertheless, "Turbo" became very successful. Not only did the record climb to number 17 on the US charts, but it also went gold and later even platinum. Contributing to this were hits such as "Turbo Lover", "Private Property", "Parental Guidance" and "Out In The Cold", among others. For the 30th anniversary edition of "Turbo 30", Judas Priest had all nine original tracks completely remastered. These are now available on 180g LP or CD. The CD version also includes two bonus CDs featuring concert footage of the legendary 1986 "Live At The Kemper Arena (Kansas City)" concert, which includes songs from the "Turbo" album as well as such highlights as "Living After Midnight", "Breaking The Law", "You've Got Another Thing Coming" and "Freewheel Burning". On the anniversary of the release of their controversial classic album "Turbo", Judas Priest present their fans with a more than worthy birthday edition. Here is "Turbo 30".
