John Coltrane: Coltrane Plays The Blues LTD | NUM version on vinyl 2LP in 45 RPM limited individually numbered Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in USA in publishing company Original Recordings Group in cooperation with Atlantic on 1. February 2019.

In October 1960, during the productive sessions for his album "My Favorite Things" on the Atlantic label, John Coltrane produced enough material for at least three albums. One of these is 1961's "Coltrane Plays the Blues," on which the jazzman plays soprano saxophone for the first time. Also featured are McCoy Tyner, Steve Davis and Elvin Jones, who recorded "Blues to Bechet," "Blues to Elvin" and "Blues to You," among others. The original analog tapes have been remastered by Bernie Grundman for a double 180g 45 RPM LP. A limited and numbered edition of 2,500 copies was pressed by Gotta Groove Records.
