Fourth Gentle Giant album back on vinyl On the 50th anniversary of their debut album, Gentle Giant 2020 reissue their first four albums on vinyl: 'Gentle Giant' (1970), 'Acquiring The Taste' (1971), 'Three Friends' (1972) and 'Octopus' (1972). Originally released on December 1, 1972, it was the last album with founding member Phil Shulman and the first with drummer John Weathers, who remained part of the band until its breakup in 1980.
