Gentle Giant's second album back on vinyl On the 50th anniversary of their debut album, Gentle Giant 2020 are reissuing their first four albums on vinyl: 'Gentle Giant' (1970), 'Acquiring The Taste' (1971), 'Three Friends' (1972) and 'Octopus' (1972). Originally released on 16 July 1971, it was the last album with drummer Martin Smith. Like its predecessor, it was produced by Toni Visconti. With a playing time of 39 minutes and 26 seconds, it is the longest Gentle Giant album ever released. Finally: a classic album on vinyl again. Here is "Acquiring The Taste" by Gentle Giant.
