Punk rock, guests and a shoe-eating fox Frank Carter returns in 2021 with a new album, and as usual, he's accompanied by his band The Rattlesnakes. "Sticky" is the title of the fourth LP from the British punk rockers, which in addition to Carter includes guitarist Dean Richardson, bassist Tom "Tank" Barclay and drummer Gareth Grover, and follows 2019's "End of Suffering." Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes already released the title track in July. According to Carter, it's "about that moment [...] when you're drunk at the bus stop at three in the morning. You know there are no more buses running, but you're still sitting there because you're too drunk to realize your options. The kebab is on the floor, you have a Stella beer in your bag and you're woken up by a dirty little fox eating your shoes." Frank and co. recorded a total of ten songs for Sticky. Five of them shine with guest appearances from notable collaborators: Primal Scream boss Bobby Gillespie, Idles singer Joe Talbot, British electro-pop-rock singer Cassyette and electroclash musician Lynks, who appears on two tracks. Frank on the album: "Someone described to me that listening to the album made them feel like they were back in their youth. When you create albums, you want to create these. Nostalgic but classic. Timeless, but modern at the same time." The singles "Go Get A Tattoo" featuring Lynks and "My Town" featuring Joe Talbot are testament to the success of that.
