A collection of new songs he wrote himself will be released on the twentieth day of May under the title I Still Do...Clapton's twenty-third studio album has been produced in conjunction with legendary producer Glyn Johns, who has also produced albums by The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Who. But of course he has also worked with Clapton before - four decades ago he was at the birth of his highly successful album Slowhand, which went triple platinum in America alone!"This was a long overdue opportunity to work with Glyn Johns again, and incidentally the fortieth anniversary of 'Showhand'," adds Clapton himself, who wrote a total of twelve songs for the new album.
