Eric Clapton and B. B. King, two pioneers and legends of electrified blues and guitar music par excellence, longtime friends until King's death in May 2015 and still undisputedly two of the most important guitarists in music history, first played together in New York in 1967. But it took more than 30 years before they combined their exceptional talents to record a collection of blues classics and contemporary songs. The result was Riding With The King, released in June 2000. On the 20th anniversary of the release of this classic album, two previously unreleased songs were added to the track listing: the blues standard Rollin' and Tumblin' and B.B. King's Let Me Love You. Andy Fairweather-Low, Steve Gadd, Steve Gadd, Andy Fairweather-Low, Steve Gadd, Andy Fairweather-Low, Steve Gadd. Nathan East, Joe Sample, Doyle Bramhall II, Susannah and Wendy Melvoin and Jim Keltner. Internationally acclaimed producer and arranger Arif Martin created the string arrangements and orchestration for two of the tracks.
