Nové album Christiny Aguilery "Lotus" je sedmým studiovým albem jednatřicetileté Američanky a nástupcem alba "Bionic" z roku 2010.

Tentokrát se Aguilera pro psaní písní nerozhodla pro svou dlouholetou partnerku Lindu Perry, ale pro nové kolegy, jako jsou Alex Da Kid, Sia, Shellback a Max Martin.

Přestože poslední studiové album Christiny Aguilery "Bionic" vyšlo před dvěma lety, zpěvačka a herečka mezitím prokazatelně nelenila. Poté, co slavila velké úspěchy mimo singlové popové žebříčky s filmem "Burlesque" a stejnojmenným soundtrackem, se v létě 2011 podílela také na jednom z největších celosvětových hitů roku jako hostující zpěvačka na hitovce "Moves Like Jagger" skupiny Maroon 5. Od roku 2011 působí také jako koučka v úspěšné americké televizní show "The Voice".

V uplynulých dvanácti měsících také pracovala na svém pátém (anglicky zpívaném) studiovém albu "Lotus", které vyjde 9. listopadu. První singl se jmenuje "Your Body". Píseň vznikla ve spolupráci s popovým dream teamem Maxem Martinem, Shellbackem a Savanem Kotechou.
