Springsteen Concerts MUSE Sony Music Entertainment will present a new film and concert album by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band in late 2021: "The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts" is a compilation of two performances recorded during the Musicians United For Safe Energy concerts, a series of benefit concerts recorded at New York's Madison Square Garden in 1979, popularly known as the "No Nukes" concerts. The MUSE concerts were founded by a group of musicians as a protest against nuclear power. Alongside Springsteen, stars such as Tom Petty, Crosby, Stills & Nash and James Taylor performed. The new film gives fans an interesting look at the early career of the band, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2014. With little footage of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band from this period, "The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts" offers a rare opportunity to see the band in explosive performance just seven years after its formation. "The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts" is available as either a double vinyl, a double CD including DVD, or a double CD with Blu-ray disc. The vinyl version features 13 songs that were performed on the two No Nukes concert nights, which have been remixed and remastered for the release. The double LP is packaged in a gatefold sleeve with silver embossing and includes a 24-page large-format booklet with an essay, rare concert photos and concert memorabilia, as well as a 48 x 84 cm poster. The double CD and DVD/Blu-ray contains 13 songs and a 90-minute concert film that has been re-edited, restored and mixed in HD from the original 16mm footage by Thom Zimny, Springsteen's longtime music video director. In addition, the set includes a 24-page booklet with an essay, rare concert photos and memorabilia, and a period cover and replica ticket.
