Blue Öyster Cult's eighth album "Fire of Unknown Origin" from 1981 contains the hit "Burnin' for You" (#1 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart). For this work, they reunited their successful writing team of Patti Smith and dark fantasy author Michael Moorcock. The track "Veteran of Psychic Wars" is considered by connoisseurs to be one of the band's best works, thanks to its length and song structure.
