Co se stane, když jste dlouho v karanténě? Díváte se na spoustu filmů. Tehdy si Chris Laney (Pretty Maids) uvědomil, kolik fantastických soundtracků existuje. Po online rozhovoru s Allanem Sørensenem (Pretty Maids, Royal Hunt) a Mortenem Sandagerem (Pretty Maids, Mercenary) se rozhodli oslovit několik přátel a zeptat se jich, zda by se nechtěli zapojit do projektu coververzí. Když se k nim nakonec přidal Björn "Speed" Strid (The Night Flight Orchestra, Soilwork), zrodil se "At The Movies".

"Chtěli jsme se prostě v téhle temné době trochu pobavit. Tak jsem zavolal několika kamarádům, kteří byli všichni opravdu pro. Vím, že mám velké štěstí, že znám všechny tyhle talentované lidi. S některými z nich jsem hrál v kapelách, s jinými jsem pracoval ve studiu a na pódiu nebo jsem se s nimi jen setkal. Jen jsme nikdy nebyli všichni v jedné místnosti," říká Laney.

Na vzniku alba se podíleli také Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall), Pontus Egberg (King Diamond, Wolf)) a Linnéa Vikström (Kamelot, Therion) a hostující hvězdy jako Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids), Jacob Hansen (producent Volbeat/Amaranthe/Pretty Maids) a Bruce Kulick (ex-Kiss).

Výsledkem plodné spolupráce jsou dvě cover alba s novými, rockovými interpretacemi známých filmových písní z osmdesátých a devadesátých let: "At The Movies: Soundtrack Of Your Life - Vol. 1" a "Vol. 2".

Výběr písní na "At The Movies: Soundtrack Of Your Life - Vol. 2" je rozmanitý. Obsahuje klasiky filmové hudby, jako jsou "King Of Wishful Thinking" ("Pretty Woman"), "When You Say Nothing At All" ("Notting Hill"), "(I Just) Died In Your Arms" ("Never Been Kissed") a mnoho dalších.
