"The Bright Lights of America" is the seventh album by American punk rock band Anti-Flag. The album was released in 2008 and marks a change in the band's sound: although still very punk, it is the first album to feature a string section and children's choirs. Two singles were released from the album: the title track and "The Modern Rome Burning". Other popular songs from this album are "Good And Ready", "Spit In The Face" and "Vices". "Wake Up The Town" features a guest appearance by Billy Talent's lead singer Benjamin Kowalewicz. Anti-Flag, produced by Tony Visconti, sound as fiery and angry as ever on this album. This is a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on white vinyl. The LPs are housed in a gatefold sleeve with a deluxe leather laminate finish and include a double-sided poster with lyrics and liner notes.
