Anaal Nathrakh is a British black metal band formed in Birmingham in 1999 by multi-instrumentalist Mick Kenney and vocalist Dave Hunt. Already in 1999 they recorded two demos, which they later released as an album. In total, the band has released ten studio albums, one EP and one compilation album. Anaal Nathrakh are still praised for blending elements of grindcore, black metal, death metal, industrial and other genres. In 2009 the band signed a record deal with Candlelight Records and released their fifth studio album "In the Constellation of the Black Widow", their sixth LP album "Passion" in 2011 and their seventh album "Vanitas" in 2012.
